Calling all United States DoD Security Experts and Enthusiasts to Compete with DoD Peers from Around the Globe
The Symantec Cyber Readiness Challenge is an immersive, interactive "capture the flag" competition that models scenarios after the current threat landscape using realistic, virtualized IT infrastructure. Designed for many levels of technical skill and experience it puts participants in the hacker's shoes to understand their targets, technology and thought processes so they can ultimately better protect their organization and themselves.
You will come away with a better understanding of the global threat landscape vulnerabilities and critical security intelligence to improve your organization's security posture.
Top three teams will win global bragging rights and recognition to be displayed prominently in your office.

Continued Learning Credits
Participants will be eligible for continuing education credits, or CPEs, towards certification requirements from organizations such as (ISC)2 and ISACA, and possibly from others as well. A Verification of participation form will be provided upon completion of the event. Please refer to your accreditation guidelines for specific guidance including reporting requirements.

The online challenge will take place in a cloud-based environment from October 14-16. The challenge will be open around the clock on these days.

Who should participate:
The Cyber Readiness Challenge is designed for IT security enthusiasts and Cyber Security experts to test their skills and knowledge. Attendees will participate as part or a 2 participant team. Each participant is required to register in and have a Team Name chosen in advance.
