At present if the backup selection is for example " c:\*" with multiplexing and multistreaming enbled , it creates seperate child jobs even for the files in the exclude list. This results the jobs for the files in exclude list to fail with error code 90.
i believe wildcard resolver should drop the files in the exclude list before generating teh streams.
