Issues with resolving a ticket

I need a solution

I posted this issue back a couple of months ago with no resolution. When trying to resolve a ticket our users get an appliation error. When troubleshooting the issue I found that when the resolution screen comes up the workflow is putting in <br/> tags when the user has a hard return.

I made sure that remove html was checked in the component. How do I get this fixed? Any help would be appreciated.
